One important thing you can teach yourself along your healing/awareness journey is how to be gentle with yourself, observe the discomforts that naturally occur, without punishment or judgment and know that it is all part of the organic process. Just like learning how to walk, ride a bike or even a new job, there are ebbs and flows of learning and growing into a better and more joyful version of yourself.

We have touched on taking the gradual steps required to shift your perspective and how it will ultimately bring you unparalleled levels of happiness, joy, and freedom within your life. However, part of the perspective pivot involves adjusting the way you see failures or shortcomings of the process. See the process as an opportunity, what you can learn or what you have learned already. More often than not, the discomfort is a test to see if you’ve learned the lessons.

Discovery is unique to everyone, by accepting and appreciating who we are and what stage we are at along our journey is crucial to cultivating an honest, kind, abundant mindset. Knowing that accepting yourself and giving yourself permission to move forward freely is one of the most powerful gifts you can do for yourself.
Take your mind back to your “why”, why you started this adventure in the first place. Sometimes the smallest setbacks can make us feel like we want to give up completely, But finding your power is a learned behavior and has to do with reminding yourself of what’s important, especially in those times when it’s not obvious.
Seeing gratuity for how far you’ve come and acknowledging the work you have already put in. No inner work is ever wasted, and any amount of time you make space to practice is an achievement.
Empower Yourself, Every Time
When you feel alone at times of discomfort (because that’s when it happens), you can glance back only to see how far you’ve come. You’ll soon be able to recognize the discomfort quickly, you’ll be reminded of the lesson you learned and you’ll then be able to navigate once again with curiosity and confidence. It gets easier and actually more rewarding with every shift. Relish in those times, giving power away to the negativity depletes you faster than the ability to restore it, so pay close attention.
